CEP® CLEAN ENERGY & PASSIVEHOUSE 2012 featuring an expanded range of topics

REECO GmbH will present the 5th CEP® CLEAN ENERGY & PASSIVEHOUSE from March 29th-31st, 2012 in the Messe Stuttgart. The international trade fair and conference has grown to become the leading trade fair for renewable energies and energy efficient buildings and has gained recognition as the sector's leading event even beyond Baden-Württemberg. Due to its unique combination of events and topics, the CEP® is one of the key trade fairs in Europe. The exhibition area for energy efficient buildings is the core of the CEP® and continues to grow every year providing up-to-date information on the leading standard of energy efficient building and renovation.

“We will continue to expand on our central topic of energy efficient building and renovation,” states project manager Sandra Bayer Teixeira. Large buildings will increasingly come into focus in 2012. By expanding on this area, the CEP® will attract new target groups such as facility managers and industry representatives. The 2012 event will also feature the premiere of the “Conference ExPosition” in the ICS International Congresscenter of the Messe Stuttgart – an exhibition accompanied by a conference addressing the topic of energy efficiency in large buildings. This new event offers experts a unique platform for exchanging knowledge and expanding their network.

The energy efficient building and renovation sector in particular shows huge economic potential. The CEP® serves to address this key market development. Innovative products and solutions including the most up-to-date information from research & development teams are combined with real examples from actual applications, making the trade fair and conference an ideal information platform. The CEP® will present the entire range of possibilities for construction and renovating energy efficient buildings, including plus-energy houses, passive house solutions, solar houses, KfW financed buildings and low energy houses. In the area of passive houses, the CEP® is already recognized as one of the top trade fairs in Europe.

The 2012 CEP® will once again present an impressive range of service providers including free independent consultations on financing and subsidies as well as information on certification and energy management solutions. Contracting companies will offer assistance and advice above and beyond typical technical consultations. Free presentations in divers forums will also serve to expand the exhibition program.

In the area of regenerative and decentralized energy production, the CEP® will feature topics ranging from cogeneration with a focus on “Stirling” to wood energy, solar technology and heat pumps. The solar section in particular will be expanded in 2012. Market leaders from all areas of production will be on site at the exhibition and conference. The solar forum also offers free presentations for visitors and exhibitors.

For future oriented building systems, building envelope solutions or building technology, the CEP® presents the most innovative products and solutions, including energy production from regenerative and decentralized sources and other energy services. Sandra Bayer Teixeira notes, “The CEP® is a key player in the market and as established itself as a central part of the energy and construction sectors.”

Not only the excellent location for travelers makes Stuttgart the ideal location for the CEP®. Stuttgart is also Germany's leading center for competence and innovation in the area of energy efficient building and renovation. Trade fair visitors and conference participants at the CEP® profit from the collective knowledge of the most innovative structures in Germany and can take advantage of the active transfer of know-how in the region.

The trade fair will also feature several accompanying conferences, including the “1st German Contracting Day” and the “4th German Stirling Conference”. In the area of building and renovation, the conferences “Passive Houses in Practice for the Housing Sector” and the “2nd Symposium on Energy-Plus Houses” have already established themselves as leading events in the sector. This year's event will feature the premiere of the conference “Facility Energy Management”.

The 2012 CEP® can continue to count on the support of its impressive network of partners, including the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development, the Bundesverband Bausysteme e.V., the Bundesverband Gebäudeenergieberater, Ingenieure, Handwerker e.V., the Deutsche Städte- und Gemeindebund and the German Association of Consulting Engineers - VBI (Verband Beratender Ingenieure. This year's patrons are Federal Minister Dr. Peter Ramsauer and the Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg Winfried Kretschmann.
