pvXchange GmbH was founded in Berlin in 2004 and is the worldwide market leader in the brokering of photovoltaic products in the corporate-customer sector. In 2008, the company brokered solar modules with an output of about 100 Megawatt via its trading platform.

The company also offers market participants secondary services to support their trading, ranging from end-customer brokering through to extensive analyses for manufacturers. Apart from Europe, pvXchange is also represented in Asia and the USA.
